mutter answer to sunday school question

teacher gives the answer. I WAS RIGHT.

I feel like there are so many unspoken Youth Sunday school memes. Like when everyone calls out answers and when the teacher gives the answer and someone is all “I said that!” like it matters. 

Do what you will, but sometimes Sunday school can be a little bit ridiculous.

 ahh, sunday school.. i remember it well. I remember that your favorite teachers were always the ones who just brought candy and just sat around playing games with the class. They’d probably get in trouble if anyone knew about that NOW… but they were still my favorite!

when my dad, a nonmember at the time, first started coming to church with my mom he went looking for the Bishobrick (bishopric) that everyone was talking about. He thought it was some kind of special Brick in the wall of the building that people left the tithing at. He didn’t tell us untill years after he was baptized, but we find it funny, maybe you could do something with it.

you know, my husband was JUST telling me a story about how, when he and his friends were little, there was a little cupboard behind the stage in the church, and all the kids would try to scare each other and said that that was where they “kept the holy ghost”! 

maybe it was just me and my friends, but we always thought there were ghosts in the church, and we would shut off all the lights and run through the halls at night like they would get us! anyone else have any funny stories like these?
